Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2

Are there any known issues with Microsoft Windows XP Professioal with SP2? Have installed CodeWarrior IDE ver. 5.7.1856 with connection to SC140e Platform 2002. CW launches but application is slow, hangs in servial editor windows. Other desktops with SP1 running same version of CW do not have this problem.

may be a FLEXlm issue.

Can you check if environment variable LM_LICENSE_FILE is defined on your system (just open a DOS window and enter the command set LM_LICENSE to get that).

Is that environment variable defined? How is it initialized?

Hello

Here CodeWarrior is going to the web to search for license info :smileysad:.

Try placing the local directories before the remote one.

make sure the {...}Metrowerks\CodeWarrior for StarCore And SDMA 1.0\license.dat comes before the 7789@... stuff.

This should go faster.
