ColdFire PE Protocol Adapter: Stop failed

Hi,

I have MCF52259 evb board. My CodeWarrior version is V7.1 Build14.

Everyday, in the beginning, I get "ColdFire PE protocol Adapter: Stop failed" error when I try to connect to the board and debug.

After reset the board+reboot PC etc several times, eventually, it will work.

Anyone knows what the problem could be?

BTW: I also metrowerks IDE for DSP56827 and Coldfire V6.3 installed on my pc, each of them uses different type BDM/JTAG.

Have you tried applying the 7.1.2 patch, which is available here?

I have 7.1.2 Patch Build 8 installed.

Anyway, I will try to reinstall it ( I noticed it is 7.1.2a from the link you give) and see the result.

I've ColdFire 7.1 and installed the patch 7.1.2, but when I want work in debug mode, on the PC is present the popup
