How to program MCU?

I'm running CodeWarrior 10.1

I've built the project and corrected all the warning & errors.

Now, how do I program my MCU?

I tried clicking on the lightning bolt icon and then selecting "Flash File to Target". CW then brings up a prompt and asks for the file to flash. What file do I give it?

Remember first make the debug.Click on the the green button debug.Verify the correct system that you are using(the microcontroller and the BDM).

I see. That seemed to get my code running.

This is my first time developing with this IDE. Can someone please recommend a good tutorial that covers flashing code to the MCU and debugging? I am hacking my way through it now, but would benefit by knowing what all the options are for.
