      <title>cant get mpc8308 in codewarrior config file list</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;codewarrior version used:- CW Power Architecture,Professional Edition,v 8.8 , Build 80229 with XP&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Problem:- I am not getting option mpc8308 target processor menu or config file menu instead 8313 is present.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also&amp;nbsp; when I am running from codewrrior its showing config file error ,jtag not connected so I am suspecting I am not selecting proper target processor.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please tell me whether selecting 8313 is ok instead of 8303(which is not present in the list).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello people.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I updated with the patches and now have PowerPC 8308 as a processor type.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But I do not find the MPC8308-RDB as a board option.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I only see 8308 mlTX (rev1), e300_ISS, and Generic.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is the RDB board option available?&amp;nbsp; Any hints on what to do?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;You're right, the &lt;STRONG&gt;8.8.3 CodeWarrior for Power Architecture&lt;/STRONG&gt; does not yet support the MPC8308-RDB, but there is a way you can still work with this board.&amp;nbsp; Start by creating a CW project for the MPC8308-mITX.&amp;nbsp; Then change the Target Initialization file in the "EPPC Debugger Settings" panel to '8308erdb_init.cfg' which is included with the BSP for the MPC8308E-RDB (also attached here.)&amp;nbsp; The BSP can be found at &lt;A href="http://www.freescale.com/powerbsp" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;www.freescale.com/powerbsp&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I hope this helps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ron&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
