CW5.6.1 - Tracing variables

Hello,

Is there another way to trace variables in CodeWarrior, apart from using the Data Visualisation function? I'd like to trace the results of ADC conversions during a few milliseconds. I'd like to have these data, export them and plot them with Matlab or another program.

Hi Kristof,

You could have the values in the variables visualized onto the hyperterminal. Then you could copy and paste the values onto whatever program to be plotted.

It does take a bit more programming though.

From the Freescale technical service I learnt that there is a specific tool for real-time monitoring, named FreeMaster (which is included in CodeWarrior). This is exactly what I need. Thank you for the advice though.
