I bought the DEMOJM evaluation kit to learn about the onboard USB. Problem is that I only know assembly for the HC11 and 9S12. Are there any Coldfire assembly primers to help me get started?

When I was porting my HC11 code to the 9S12, I found lots of assembly examples on university websites. I haven't seen anything on the Coldfire.

I downloaded the reference manual to look at the programmer's model, and I don't see anything familiar. Very confusing.

Thanks for looking.

Hi,

I guess that the easiest way to find some information might be looking at the m68k (680x0)
The ColdFire is its successor and has the same programming model and (mostly) instruction set.
HTH
 stzari
