MCF5213 beginners tutorial

Hello,

for my studies i wanto to use a MCF5213.

Now i am looking for an Beginner Tutorial with all important imformations.

I want to know what software/ hardware is needed and where can i get it ( i use win XP).

I would be very happy if someone has some information about this topic.

Take a look at the following:

http://www.utasker.com/index.html - presumable you want to use the 5213 due to its CAN interface so see also:

Initially you could try using the uTasker M522XX project (includes M5213 support) since it will allow you to test it without hardware (in the uTasker simulator).

Also think about a more modern processor like the M52259 rather than the M5213 since it has much more features and will also be much simpler to get hold of and cheaper (the M5213 is only available as expensive EVAL or DEMO boards that also need a BDM - a M52259 DEMO board costs only $49 [oder it directly from Freescale] and includes a built in debugger so makes life much easier for a beginner).
