    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Hello,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;First post here, hope it is in the correct place.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I am trying to get X,Y,Z data out of the ZSTAR accelerometer eval board into Labview.&amp;nbsp; I can recognise the USB reciever in Labview, but am having problems understanding how to communicate with this device.&amp;nbsp; Could somebody steer me in the correct direction please?&amp;nbsp; I am new to Freescale product, but am very familiar with LabView and am really having problems on where to start with getting these 2 systems to talk with each other.&amp;nbsp; ANY input would be greatly appreciated, suggested reading, links whatever!&amp;nbsp; Like I said I am just starting down this path and all comments suggestion would be welcome.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Cheers,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Z&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Hi Zeder,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;The reference manual for ZSTAR can be found at the link below.&amp;nbsp; Page 42&amp;nbsp;describes the&amp;nbsp;text-based protocol which communicates over a usb using the virtual serial port class.&amp;nbsp; Therefore in Labview you should be able to use a VISA Serial Com port instance to interface with the usb stick.&amp;nbsp; You just have to know what com port on your PC the usb stick is assigned to.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.freescale.com/files/sensors/doc/ref_manual/ZSTARRM.pdf?fsrch=1" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.freescale.com/files/sensors/doc/ref_manual/ZSTARRM.pdf?fsrch=1&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Best of luck.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;MacL&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
