Bootloader for MCF52277

Our MCF52277 based device has a BDM connector to program the firmware during manufacturing process currently, but once a device is assembled and closed, the connector is not available in the field. I have been asked to create a bootloader for the device so it's firmware could be updated in the field via USB drive. I found a USB bootloader sample discussed in one of Freescale’ s document (USB_BootLoader_AN4368.pdf). This sample uses MCF52259 processor which I presume should be similar to ours, and that gives me confidence that bootloader can be developed for MCF52277.

Can someone guide me and point me in the right direction with regards to software code and/or people references?

Thank you.

- Mahesh
