M5235EVB dbug Set hangs

I've just started to use a new M5235EVB. When I try to use the set command, for example
set client 192.168.1.10, or set baud 19200 (the current baud), the dbug hangs and I only get a prompt back
if I reset. This surely isn't right? I haven't altered any of the DIP switches.
The firmware is v3b.1a.1a (Built on Aug 27 2004 16:16:25)
The boot prompt doesn't mention a DRAM size as the UM examples do.
Brief trial of other commands seem OK.

Hi loris,

I also ran into this problem when I first started with the 5235EVB. You will have to reflash your board with a more current version of dBug.
I would suggest you open a service request with Freescale.

Thanks for the posting. Can a Freescale moderator point me to where I can find a suitable file to download - I've had a look and can only see MCF_DEBUG.zip which is source code, not s-records.

Try the string M5235BCC-DBUG-SREC in the keyword search field at the upper right of this web page. This provides a link to a page where you can download an updated version for your specific board, in S-record format. If this version is not suitable, then you'll have to enter a service request to obtain a later version.
