[ColdFire] Anybody using/planning MCF5329? Can't Post

Hi all,

We are considering Dragonfire MCF5329 device for our design, looking at its enoumous peripheral support.

Has anybody started using MCF5329?
Any observations so far?

Has any vendor comeup/planning to comeup in short time with 5329 SBC?
Awaiting for such interaction with concerned party.

we are developing a new COBRA Starterkit: COBRA5329. It based on
MCF5329. It will be available in february.

Hello,
Logic Product Development is supplying a system on module for the MCF5329 which is the standard development kit provided as a Freescale part number. For more infomration on the kit, you can check out the product link on the LPD website:

The kit is a single board computer module, that is installed on a standard baseboard. The module has DDR ram, NOR flash, NAND flash, Ethernet PHY, LCD support, touch screen controller, audio codec, etc. and is a production ready product. If your end application would like to use a module, the LPD board is a possible solution.

Kurt,

I would love to use one of Logic's boards but I just can't get my hands on
one, do you know were I can find one?

It looks like the processor will meet our needs but I need to evaluate the
lcd controller driving an 800x600 panel. Has any one tried a panel of that
size yet running say micro windows or another gui package?
