In my case, the solution was to go back to the 20060705 LTIB release.

Starting over from scratch and re-applying the USB patches seems to have fixed the problems I was having with that release without introducing all the problems I was having with the 20071102 release.

That approach may not work for you, depending on your requirements.

JPA

I have two USB devices, a USB stick and a USB serial adapter. Either seems to work okay plugged directly into the USB port of the 5329EVB. But if I plug both in via a USB hub, I get a long series of error -71 messages.

I've tried two different hubs, and different cabling. I've tried the hub as both self-powered and bus-powered.

Threads elsewhere seem to point to a conflict between the EHCI driver and the OHCI driver, which doesn't apply here, yes? They suggest removing the EHCI driver, which in my case disables USB altogether.

Boot messages attached.

John

error_71.txt

Message Edited by t.dowe on 2009-09-04 02:39 PM
