M52235EVB full duplex problem

Hello,

I'm using M52235EVB with ColdFire_TCP-IP_Lite_Rev3.2. My problem is that the device cannot step to full duplex mode. According to the LEDs on the board it can step into full duplex mode but my switch recognizes it in half duplex mode.

I tested it with the following commands:

iface 10 man half --> LEDs on the board shows this config; switch shows the same

iface 10 man full --> LEDs on the board shows this config; switch shows 10 half duplex

iface 100 man half --> LEDs on the board shows this config; switch shows the same

iface 100 man full --> LEDs on the board shows this config; switch shows 100 half duplex

iface 100 auto full --> LEDs on the board shows this config; switch shows nothing (it doesn't communicating)

The type of the router is: SMCGS8P-Smart

Does anybody have an idea how should I make it work in full duplex mode?

Search this forum for "Duplex" and see if any of the 30 matches helps.

Check SECF128 in MCF52234DE.pdf and see if the software is obeying that errata item.

Try a different (shorter) cable and switch.
