I am looking for information on the Coldfire MCF523x ethernet options.

Specifically, where would I find information of supported protocols, if applicable. i.e. Does freescale provide support for web server (http, https), FTP, DHCP,etc.?. Does freescale provide support for remote firmware upgrades?

I was asked to look into this controller as a possible replacement for a Digi, which provides the above services and additional tools for integration and I'm having trouble finding application documentation on this site other than the low-level ethernet controller (unless that is all that is provided...)

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Eric

Hi Eric

Apart from https (it probably won't be easy to find https as demo) the uTasker project includes all of the others including remote SW updates via FTP or HTTP post methods. All of these are integrated in the demo project which can be built with CodeWarrior or GCC (incl. Eclipe project).

Details, demos and documentation at www.uTasker.com

Regards

Mark Butcher

Interniche also has a TCP/IP stack, which is free in the lite version. More information in this thread.
