Hi all,

We just got this dev board in a few weeks ago. It came with a CD which had a cygwin distribution on it, but all the files appear to be for the 5282. Will this also work for the 52233?

I was also looking at another GNU toolchain from Code-sourcery (whose link i found in this very forum). Would we be able to build with Sourcery G++ for uCLinux (or for ELF) as well? Which CPU type would I specify? I saw a posting here that 5208 worked.

And lastly, can we use either of these to build uCLinux for this Coldfire?

Hope you can help a newbie out.

Hello,

I am using the M5223EVB with a MCF52235.

Here is a link to set up a GNU toolchain for the ColdFire:

I wrote the hardware initialisation using the CFInit-Tool:

I successfully managed to get the program debugged when run in RAM. I am currently working on debugging from ROM. I hope to find out about it soon.
