&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;There does not need any hardware and software change. Thanks.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>MC68332ACEH20 shortage</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Our PCB manufacturer has reported us shortage on the processor&amp;nbsp;MC68332ACEH20, I see as drop in replacement the processor&amp;nbsp;MC68332ACEH25.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It seems to me that the only difference is that MC68332ACEH25 has capability to run faster than&amp;nbsp;MC68332ACEH20.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm going to go deep into the Datasheet and user manual, but if someone may confirm that both processors will work same with the same code I really appreciate.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Customer can use&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;MC68332ACEH25 to replace&amp;nbsp;MC68332ACEH20 chip without any software &amp;amp; hardware modification.&amp;nbsp; Thanks for the attention.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Mike,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have an MC68332ACEH16 design where I installed a MC68332ACEH25. The component is not able to lock onto the external 32.768KHz clock.&amp;nbsp; Nothing has changed other than swapping devices. FW controls the clock divisor. As a test, I can insert an external reference in place of the crystal to allow it to work. The intent is for the -25 to be a drop in replacement.&lt;BR /&gt;Is this expected?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
