We are testing some boards for a client who is having memory timeout issues in production and we are trying to help them get to the bottom of it. We are running our own verification tests but we were hoping there was some documentation, settings or history of this in the past we could test to see if it resolved our issue.

We are a little fuzzy on the details but we are working to get a better understanding of the issue.

The processor we are using is an NXP (Freescale) MCF5475VR266.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're going to have to post far better details than "memory timeout issues in production" in order to get any useful responses.

What sort of memory - SRAM? DRAM? SDRAM? Flash? Internal SRAM or external? Internal Flash or external? External Flash, EEPROM, NAND, eMMC, USB Stick? CF Card? You see what I mean about the lack of any details?

You'll have to detail the Production Tests and the Failure Reports from the software at least, if not post large slabs of the production test source code. And the design.

Tom
