Hi,

I just build a OSBDM board based on the version without the RS support.

I uploaded the firmware. He his reconised by Hiware. But when I connect to my target self-made

based on a AW32 I got this message :

No Link To Target

As the OSBDM is new and my target as well, I'm not sure which one causing the problem.

In the file attached you can see the BDM signal (Top) and the Reset Signal (Bottom) that I have.

Has someone a working time diagram of what I should have on a normal case, just to understand

maybe where the problem is.

Many thanks in avance for any help

pblet

OSBDM.jpg

Message Edited by t.dowe on 2009-10-26 05:20 PM

In Fact I have more questions :

1) On the target the AW32 has no XTal on board. It use the internal oscillator. Is this compatible with the OSBDM ? Or should I add an external XTal ?

2) It is a way to check that the AW60 is running whith the internal oscillator ?

3) If I have the same voltage level both on the OSBDM and the target, can I connect directly the BDM and Reset signals without the 74LVC1T45 ?

4) Has someone already tested the level shifter MAX 3373E from Maxim is this part usable in case of the OSBDM. ? the difference to the 74LVC1T45 is that this part need no DIR pin.

Best regards

pblet

Message Edited by pblet on 2007-02-0711:39 PM
