Hi,

Good day everyone.

I`m new to NXP world and i need help with unsecuring 9s08.

I know that MC9S08DZ32 ( 2M74K )is secured and when executing Mass erase the MCU flash will be erased, is there a work around to backup flash area before erase?

Hi,

If the chip is secured the whole idea is that the chip contents can't be read.

So, no there is no (practical) way of backing up the contents of a secured chip.

There are interesting techniques such a power glitching or laser/flash interference that have been successful in bypassing security in some MCUs but I know of none applied to 9S08 devices.
