Hi, freescale now offer Kinetis mcu, I have one question that is any opensource JTAG/BDM tools for Kinetis?

The freescale's OSBDM and USBDM have any plan to support Kinetis?

The latest OSBMD design package v29.04 that P&E Microcomputer Systems released does include support for Kinetis ARM devices. You can download schematics/documentation/firmware/dll source at:

If you are looking for an inexpensive commercially supported solution, please take a look at the Universal Multilink from P&E. It is all-in-one hardware interface, which supports HCS08/RS08/HCS12(X)/CFV1/CFV234/Qorivva/Kinetis ARM architectures:

Dear Bluehacker,

I expect to complete adding Kinetis support to the USBDM BDM in the near future. This will only be available on the CF_JS16 and CF_JMxx versions.

The support for Kinetis will be in the current version of hardware for the CF_JMxxCLD pcd found in USBDM Version 4.5 files?

Yes - no hardware changes but you would need an adapter for the target connector.
