&lt;P&gt;The device was designed for applications up to 75W.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;It could be an option, but I'm still concerned about currents and insulation. Be careful with both aspects.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In my personal opinion, I would recommend changing your device.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.nxp.com/products/power-management/ac-dc-solutions/ac-dc-controllers-with-integrated-pfc/hv-start-up-dcm-qr-flyback-controller-with-integrated-dcm-qr-pfc-controllers:TEA175X" target="_blank"&gt;TEA1755T&lt;/A&gt; – supports higher power and has better gate drive.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I emphasize that the option you want to perform is very likely to cause some failure and damage your project, just change for TEA1755T&lt;/P&gt;
