Oh really Gouweisun, we currently use Onsemi FAN1100 with a max gate voltage of 6.5V, well within the PT200x capability. A high current ignition IGBT like FGD3050G2 has gate charge of 22nC so no problem as no switching. Obviously any DESAT detection must protect the PT200x from the 500V. And the soft shutdown will be driven from a Flag output. What have I missed?

Has anyone driven IGBT with PT2000/1 33816? With the uncertainty over life of MC33810, they may be able to perform a soft shutdown of an ignition coil.

Hi Fase

We recommend these PT2000/1 for drive MOSFET not the IGBT.

The IGBT drive solution is different with MOSFET.

HI Fast

If you select the suitable IGBT for PT200X and the PT200X driver capability can meet this specification requirement no more concern about this application case.

Yes it does, a warning though the PT2001 EVM board doesn't have the clearance for 500V, so I could not heatsink well. Looks like KIT33816FRDMEV would be better choice. And add small MOSFET for soft shutdown. A bit of a sledgehamer to crack a nut, PT2000 better value. With no overlap paired channels sharing current sense like injector banking. Merry Christmas guoweisun, and a prosperous New Year.
