Need for moderator to review posts?

I recently joined the community to post questions and participate in discussion (I was directed here by our Freesacle sales rep). The first question I posted to the IMX community has been waiting for moderator approval for over 5 hours now. Is this something that every message must go through or more due to the fact that my account is new? Is there anything I can do to speed this process up or skip moderator approval all together?

Hi Matthew, due to recent spam attacks new posts from users go through moderation until users have a certain amount of points. Once you go through that limit you will not be moderated anymore.

I have approved all pending items in the moderation queue. Please let me know if your post has not been approved yet.

Thanks for the info. I had read you guys were having problems with spam and totally understand the need for moderation. Can you say what the point limit is for no longer needing moderator approval?

Hello Karla,

I have recently open thread on some problem I have encountered with iMX platform (https://community.freescale.com/message/556338?et=watches.email.thread#556338). I was also very surprised to discover that all my posts have to be approved by moderator.

Moreover one of my replies was for some reason rejected by moderator. I can't see any problem in it and there is no information on the reason moderator decided to reject it.

This is very annoying, can someone explain me what wrong in my reply and what should I fix in order to post it?

I have applied for a datasheet download 3 days ago and in moderated downloads it is still pending . Is this normal ?. Regards hedley davidson

Thanks for the information. The inconvenience that I find is that I see my question has been answered by NXP, but I cannot see his answer because I updated my post. My post is waiting for moderator approval. I guess it has to be approved before I can see his response which is strange.
