If you wish to receive email notifications whenever a new element is added to a community space:

Follow the Community Space through Email Watches, this will automatically trigger an email notification whenever someone publishes a new asset:

If you wish to receive email notifications from discussions related to a particular community asset, you could either Follow it through Email Watches or start participating in a conversation based on that publication (by adding a Comment)
