Is there an API lower than WLAN that has an easy interface for Wi-Fi? I've found that the WLAN manager has more overhead and responsibilities than I'd like.

Hi,

Please take a look at UM11798. In Figure 3, you will find the Wi-Fi layer.

It seems that if you want something “lower” than the wlcmgr, you need to interact directly with the Wi‑Fi driver.

Are there any examples with this? The interface with this does not look as straight forward as it should.

Hi,

Seems all the Wi-Fi examples in the MCUXpresso SDK uses wlcmgr.

Is there any documentation for the driver? I could only find some for the manager.
