[88W8897] Wi-Fi interface STA gets disconnected due to android wifi roaming policy

Dear NXP support team,

Our platform OS is Android 9 and the WIFI chip is 88W8897.

We observed the WIFI interface STA gets disconnected due to the Android WIFI roaming policy.

Could you help us analyze this issue and fix it?

There is an app named "Wifi Roaming Fix", which can be downloaded from google store.

You can try to test it.

Android本身对roaming的支持不是很理想，这个tool用于强制scan 信号比较强的AP。

这可能会使你的系统有所改善。

【另外】

WIFI的无缝漫游是一个比较理想状态，对于不同的app会有不同的效果，网络中AP的配置也非常重要，特别是AP之间信号重叠的布局，这个要特别注意。AP的中继或者桥接，也可以实现不间断连接，请酌情考虑网络布局的方式。
