Please see below for our efforts:

Please find the log analysis.

We have tried to replicate the customer scenario and we observe the disconnection but in our case the DUT will automatically connected below are the supplicant and dmesg in-sync logs which shows the re-connection procedure

From wpa_supplicant logs

we have also analyzed your logs, and we can see the deauth

[ 170.745041] wlan: Received disassociation request on wlan0, reason: 3

But after the DUT will also again connect successfully

[ 171.686526] wlan: HostMlme wlan0 Connected to bssid bc:XX:XX:XX:03:1a successfully

From the sniffer logs i am not able to see the deauth/diassoc frames to map the dmesg logs.

We required the in-sync logs of sniffer, dmesg and supplicant to map the disconnection sequence. It will necessary to expedite the debugging process

Conclusion based on local and your logs analysis:

Not identified any suspect related to DUTSTA

Disconnection occurs from Peer AP.

Might be an open AIR issue.

And also, we tried on both my side and our SAE expertise side to reproduce. But unfortunately it becomes harder and harder to reproduce. I only reproduced one time from yesterday, but unfortunately sniffer is invalid.

So if you still can reproduce it easily, please help to test it in a shield room so that can capture full/more sniffer to match timestamped continuously dmesg logs.

<LI-CODE lang="markup">dmesg -T -w > dmesg.txt &</LI-CODE>

Regards,

Christine.

Hi, @yao_feng

Can you please help to provide the dmesg+ fw_dump +drv_dump logs based on the new release?

Please pay attention to the parameter: drvdbg = 0xa0037 when load drivers and make sure FW dump is available. After issue is occurred, directly export the logs without rebooting your device. Once device is reboot, FW dump will be lost.

Also do not use below command before export the failed logs because below command will automatically trigger another FW dump and it will override the real failed one.

<LI-CODE lang="markup">echo debug_dump > /proc/mwlan/adapter0/config </LI-CODE>

Best regards,

Hi, @ArthurC

Thanks for your logs and information.

I checked internally about this release, our internal team mentioned they have raised a JIRA ticket and fixes have been merged. So it might be a new issue because of some other submits.

According to the given logs, we will continue to track.

Also about the issue that drvdbg=0x20037 and drvdbg=0xa0037 will cause system hang, I will report internally and may try to reproduce locally.

Once have any feedback, I will sync with you at the first time.

Best regards,

Christine.
