    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;the boards are different, so I would check which pins are configured on S32K118 and compare it with schematic of S32K148 board. There could be some collision with transceivers, for example.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Otherwise I can't see workaround for that - just try to avoid such mistake.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>S32K148 EVK Microcontroller Heat up (Spoiled)</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Experts,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Trying to analyse the root cause of S32K148 microcontroller spoiled.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Background:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. I am trying to establish the SPI communication in between two EVK boards (S32K118 &amp;amp; S32K148). Both the boards were working fine but by mistake when i uploaded the S32K118 files in S32K148 suddenly microcontroller start heating and then after i was not able to flash.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. I am using&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN class="fontstyle0"&gt;5V domain powered by 12V power source (J8 connected to pin 1&amp;amp;2)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Total 6 pins are connected in-between S32K118 and&amp;nbsp;S32K148 i.e. MISO,MOSI,PS0, SCLK, PTC11(GPIO configured as interrupt) &amp;amp; a ground to wire to make common ground in between two EVK.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Except configured pins wire none of the wire(or any conductive material was in physical contact with the&amp;nbsp; EVK. Means no shorting has been happened.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5. S32K118 still working fine but S32K148 microcontroller showing shorted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is my 2nd EVK whose microcontroller spoiled due to same reason.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please suggest the possible reason and work around of this problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
