Hi,

It is possible to trigger the ADC from a PDB Pulse-Out signal, and the trigger muxing table shows this connection as a valid option.

However, the default hardware triggering scheme uses the PDB to trigger the ADC directly, which is the recommended approach. In this mode, the PDB generates all required channel pre-triggers as well as the ADC hardware trigger.

An alternative hardware triggering scheme is to use TRGMUX, selected by SIM_ADCOPT[ADCxTRGSEL].

A drawback of this approach is the limited number of pre-triggers (four) and their hardware availability. Only LPIT supports hardware pre-triggers. For other trigger sources, software pre-triggers must be configured using SIM_ADCOPT[ADCxSWPRETRG].

Therefore, in your case, you would need to configure the software pre-trigger before each PDB Pulse-Out event that is used as the ADC hardware trigger.
