Hi,

RTD demo CAN examples shows internal loopback usage/config, so there is no need of pin init. You will need to add it by own. Also with TJA1153 initialization, if this is still in default Vanilla state.
You can refer to below examples https://community.nxp.com/t5/S32K-Knowledge-Base/RTD600-MCAL-amp-IP-S32K3X4EVB-T172-FlexCAN-Example-Interrupt/ta-p/2142069 It is for S32K344, but can be used as reference.
The S32K358 FlexCAN IP example is e.g on https://community.nxp.com/t5/S32K-Knowledge-Base/Example-S32K358-FlexCAN-TXRX-ISR-S32DS35-RTD400-500/ta-p/1981987

I am checking CAN transceiver configuration and init sequence for "Can_Example_S32K358". But, I could not find anything related to this. Also, there is no Dio module configured in the MCAL driver. Then how does the CAN transceiver functions with this example ? I am using RTD "SW32K3_S32M27x_RTD_R21-11_6.0.0_QLP04_HF01_D2510_DesignStudio_updatesite".
