Hi,

I have different problems with my S32K3X4EVB-T172. When I try to load to project I can´t load correctly. I have always 3 leds on (D2, D14, D15 and D21). The chip FS25 is heating so much (the jumper 18 is on positicion as in the photo) and I don´t know if I have to change Fs26 o chip S32K344. Could yoy give information about this and if I can change.

Thank you

Hi @JonAnder_Amante,

Most likely the MCU has been damaged, causing VDD_HV_A_MCU to short to GND and FS26 to heat up. It has been discussed in this other community post: Solved: Re: S32K358 EVB Not working - NXP Community.

You can try switching the MCU mounted on the board.

Best regards,
Julián

Hi,

Could you give a price about how much can it cost to change the microprocessor and where I can ask?

Thank you

Hi @JonAnder_Amante,

Prices will depend on availability in your region. I'm not familiar with specific businesses which do these procedures, but you will probably need to contact one who provide SMT (Surface-Mount Technology).

Best regards,
Julián
