Hello,

I am currently working on a project that involves CAN-FD communication, but I am not fully familiar with the required software setup. I have reviewed the NXP documentation for the FlexCAN controller, but I would like to confirm whether NXP provides a CAN protocol stack that includes support for parsing DBC files. If so where can I download the stack?

Hi,

NXP does not directly provide a full CAN protocol stack that includes native support for DBC file parsing. There is FlexCAN RTD driver available which supports CAN and CAN-FD communication, FlexCAN can be configured within S32 Design Studio Config tool, there exists RTD demo examples as well, but DBC parsing is not possible in S32DS. This is typically handled by third-party tools/libraries.
