Debugger for S32K312 controller for Production SW + GHS Compiler

Hi Team,

We are looking for a right debugger to use in production grade SW development.

Controller used: S32K312

Compiler used: GHS

IDE used: S32DS

Debugger used: PEmicro’s Multilink Universal

Currently we are using GCC compiler with above environment. Customer suggested to go with GHS compiler.

We would like to know if above environment is suitable for production grade SW development and debugging, typically is PEmicro’s Multilink Universal debugger suitable for PRODUCTION GRADE SW development and debugging? if not, what shall be the recommended Debugger to be used?

According to your description, if I understand you are looking for advanced high-end debugger having advanced features
(TRACE feature for instance) as Lauterbach or PLS. I would recommend too see their pages eventually contact their support channels:
