&lt;P&gt;Follow the steps &lt;A href="https://www.nxp.com/document/guide/getting-started-with-the-s32k312evb-q172-evaluation-board-for-general-purpose:GS-S32K312EVB-Q172?section=plug-it-in_plug-it-in-3" target="_self"&gt;3.3 Connect the Debugger Cable&lt;/A&gt;,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Connect a micro-USB cable to the&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;J40&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;connector to debug via the on-board S32K3 debugger.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The D14 should light up. And then you will see the Port: Embedded Multilink Rev A in PEmicro Debugger configuration view:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I USE ON BOARD THE BUG NAME :&amp;nbsp; Debugger : U-Multilink&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AND, WHEN I CONNECTED BY, POWER, USB, AND J12 DUBUGGER PINS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TURN ON TRTPWR IN MY DEBUGGER...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;And when I did it for the first time, it was debugging&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I can't do it all of a sudden&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I changed it to GDBMI FORT NUMBER and SERVER FORT NUMBER&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;But now it's the same environment you sent me&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Please note that some older versions of Multilink do not support S32K3, see the discussion in: &lt;A href="https://community.nxp.com/t5/S32K/s32ds-v3-4-debug-s32k344-via-PE/td-p/1374701" target="_self"&gt;s32ds-v3.4 debug s32k344 via PE&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Tell me the version of S32K3 RTD you use.&lt;BR /&gt;Or send me the project you tested for checking.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you tried the onboard debugger (J40) with J12 disconnected?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
