    <description>&lt;P class=""&gt;We are in the process of migrating from the S32K344 environment to the S32K314.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;(Using&amp;nbsp;SW32K3_RTD_R21-11_3.0.0_P07)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;During GPT initialization, a core power-down occurs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;We identified that one of the differences between the S32K344 and the S32K314 is the generation of STM1_CLK (STMB_CLK).&lt;BR /&gt;(S32K344 successfully generates STMB_CLK.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;In the generated file Clock_Ip_PBcfg.c from the S32K314 environment, we modified the configuration to forcibly change the STMA_CLK to STMB_CLK and recompiled.&lt;BR /&gt;After this change, the GPT initialization proceeds normally, and the system boots up without any issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;However, according to the RM.pdf, STM1_CLK (STMB_CLK) does not seem to exist in the S32K314.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;How is it possible that the S32K314 operates with STM1_CLK (STMB_CLK), even though this clock is not documented as existing in the S32K314?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;What is the correct way to configure the GPT module to use STM0_CLK instead of STM1_CLK as its clock source?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
