S32K148 problem with reception in ENET module

Hello everyone,

I am running the S32K148 using ENET module with DMA. The issue is that it stops receiving ethernet messages after operating for a while (30-40 min). What I have seen is that field E in uDMA receive buffer descriptor does not change anymore

We have many S32K148 devices in our network, as well as some Acksys switches. It appears that this behavior occurs, as I said, after some time operating, when it receives a message that Acksys devices send each other. This occurs to every S32K148 in the network.

Any ideas on where to look to solve this?

Hi,

can you specify a driver versions (SDK, RTD, Stacks) you are using?
Does this hang condition happen under some heavy load conditions or similar? What are messages switches exchange? Is a ENET detecting any kind of error? Maybe ENET statistic counters can be used with finding root cause.
