S32K312 - Missing Standard Files after Clock Config change

Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on project on the S32K312 with one of the example applications. I wanted to change one of the clock settings.

Therefore I opened the Clock Configuration view, changed the clock I wanted to change and pressed the button "Generate Code". Afterwards I changed to the normal source code view performed a clean a rebuild of the project.

In compilation I got the following error:

I already check the file paths, the requested Header file is not part of the project?

After my opinion this standard file should be also part of the RTD which was installed. Is there a step/option which I have missed to include?

Or is there a way to import this standard files seperately?

Thank you so much for your interest in our products and for using our community.

Yes, those headers are generated by the RTD,
A possible cause for this issue is because you did not set paths correctly in your compiler options or you did not generated those files from RTD.

Can you let us know which S32 Design Studio version are you using?
Did you have installed the corresponding RTD packages in S32DS? Could you share your installation details? (Please check in Help >> Installation details)
Are you using any NXP examples? If so, which one?

thanks for your reply on this topic.

I was checking the paths that were set in the compiler settings. Unfortunately I did not find the referenced files, where I could include the in the compiler settings.

I was using the Design Studio 3.5 but I also replicated the same situation with DS 3.6. Please see attached below a screenshot about the installation details. In this you can see that the RTD was installed.

About the example application, I was trying to modify one clock setting on this example: S32K312_ADKP_Provision.

I also did a second attempt in configuring the Clocks without the RTD (since the example project is not an AUTOSAR project). Therefore I removed the RTD Packages from my installation. When I tried to open the configuration for the clocks the following error appears:

When I tried to install the configuration extension for S32K3 I got the following message

I am currently out of options. Please help me how I could go further on those points...

Hi,
We suggest to verify the requirements for the S32K312_ADKP_Provision project in the release notes of the SW package where you found such example, probably the S32DS IDE and RTD versions are not compatible with the example, could you share the link project to replicate the issue on our side?

In addition, we recommend working with the RTDs package, which have all necessary to use Configuration Tools with the examples.

In case your installation is corrupted, uninstall and reinstall the S32DS IDE.
To Uninstall, use the .exe file located in : S32DS3.5\_S32 Design Studio for S32 Platform 3.5_installation\Uninstall S32 Design Studio for S32 Platform 3.5.exe
