Inquiry on User Application Code Size for S32K311

Hello,

I am working on developing an application using the S32K311 MCU.

According to the documentation, the S32K311 MCU offers approximately 1MB of Flash Memory.
However, I would like to confirm the actual usable ROM size after excluding reserved areas or regions inaccessible to the user.

Hi @malove ,

For the S32K311, the Program Flash Memory size is 1MB, and 64KB of Data Flash. However, there are reserved areas that depend on the HSE configuration, which will change accordingly. If HSE firmware is not available, please refer to table 191 of Reference Manual.

This reserved area is used by the SBAF and no application cores except HSE_B can access the address regions.

For others HSE Configurations (Full memory or AB SWAP), please refer to Tables 192 and 193 in the S32K3 Reference Manual.
