PE Micro interface settings issue in debug configurations of S32K3X8 289 Eval board

Hi, I am using S32K3X8-289 eval board for debugging purposes. While choosing the interface in PE Micro debugger window, I observe that for a particular hardware interface, all the available interfaces work, and the debugging is successful which should not be the case ideally. For example, if I connect via Multilink USB, the interface chosen in the configuration should be USB Multilink, USB Multilink FX, but when I choose any of the available interfaces, the debugging is successful. I tried this with OpenSDA USB also and the observations were same. Can anyone explain why this is happening or what am I missing in this, as a debugging session should be successful only with the corresponding interface settings only.
