S32DS variable change value

How can i change the value of a variable inside S32DS, while running in debug mode?

I can only watch the variable value inside Real Time Expressions viewer.

Hello,

I am not sure, if I understand your question correct, but if you want to modify variable in runtime, this is not possible. In runtime, you can only watch variable. If you want to change variable, you must stop the program first.

i would like to modify the variable in runtime without stopping the

debugger (sorry, if my question was not clear);

can you suggest any workaround? In our systems (power systems) it is not

possible to stop the debugging session to change variables values.

Please consider adding this feature, because it is commonly available on

most of the ARM development systems (such as STM32 or Texas Instruments).

Hello Gilberto,

I understand your use case, but the plugin you use is created by PeMicro (as well as S32DS debugger), so I think, it will be better, if you contact PeMicro support directly.

They will have better experience in this area and maybe, they will provide you information, how to write variable during runtime.
