S32k144 CSEC error state

Hi, team:

from AN5401 , i know the error is reported in the “Error Bits” field when any error occurring during the CSEC command execution, and i want to confirm what's the impact with the chip?

for example, if i update a key without increase the counter value, the error bit will be "CSEC_KEY_UPDATE_ERROR", then the key will be unavailable or what, and will it affect the use of flash modules?

Hi @fan1234

if you get "CSEC_KEY_UPDATE_ERROR", nothing will happen. The original key can be still used, it's just not updated because you provided wrong data. It does not affect flash modules.

other error bits will be the same? will any error of csec affect flash modules or original kes?
