Hello

I use S32DS to configure the Power component. In the mode configuration, when configuring the StandBy mode, there are some configuration items that are unclear. Please explain to me:
What do the "Partition0 Under MCU control" and "CM7_0 Under MCU Control", "CM7 0 Core Clock Enable" and other Under MCU control related options control? Does it mean that after entering StandBy, can these devices be controlled by the MCU? After entering StandBy, the CPU has stopped. How can I still control these devices?

Hi Simon,

When something is under the MCU control, the driver has access to the corresponding registers.

For example, PRTN0_COFB1

Before the MCU enters the Standby mode, the configuration takes place.

If the CM7_0 clock is under MCU control and CM7_0 clock is disabled:

it will end up in this timeout, the main CM7_0 cannot be in WFI.

Thank you for your answer. I understand the problem that the main core cannot enter WFI.
Then, in what cases do I need to check these two options and in what cases do I not need to check them?

refer to the S32K3xx Reference Manual, rev.9,

We could disable the clock of CM7_0 this way only if CM7_0 was not the main core.

So, the configuration options you are asking about are there for platforms that allow that.
