https://community.nxp.com/t5/S32K/TJA1102-Reset/m-p/1991363#M43077 <P>Hello NXP,</P><P>I am integrating TJA1102 with SJA1105 switch and MC S32K344.</P><P>Is it mandatory to issue a software reset (Bit 15) in the Basic Control Register (Register 0) after initializing the transceiver?</P><P>My initialization sequence is:</P><P>1- Set Bit 2 (CONFIG_EN) Register 17</P><P>2- Set Bit 0 (PHY_EN) Register 28</P><P>3- Set whether PHY acting as Master/Slave (Bit 15) Register 18</P><P>4- Clear AUTO_OP (Bit 15) in Register 28.</P><P>Do I need to apply Software reset (Bit 15 in Reg 0) after issuing the above initialization sequence?
