    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm starting to develop a new software application for NXP S32K144 and I must choose which SDK can I use.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Which is the diferrence between SDK S32K RTM (&lt;SPAN style="color: #51626f; background-color: #ffffff;"&gt;release to manufacturing&lt;/SPAN&gt;) versus EAR (&lt;SPAN style="color: #51626f; background-color: #ffffff;"&gt;early access release&lt;/SPAN&gt;) quality level in terms of features?       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In general, EAR version is not determined for developing application used in production. It is some kind of testing version which should detect bugs and any other potential problems.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you want to develop new application, I recommend use S32SDK_S32K1xx_RTM_3.0.0, which is the newest RTM version. If you have installed S32 Design Studio with newest update 9, you can see all SDKs in S32DS installation folder.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In these folders, you can find release notes for all versions, please see the figure below:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper" image-alt="pastedImage_2.png"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.nxp.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/72486i983F6EF31D3D1F87/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="pastedImage_2.png" alt="pastedImage_2.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please see the link below to download update 9, which contains latest versions of SDK.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-342805?sr=search&amp;amp;searchId=8c02f9ef-d654-40e9-9ebc-1af8d30f6aad&amp;amp;searchIndex=0"&gt;https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-342805?sr=search&amp;amp;searchId=8c02f9ef-d654-40e9-9ebc-1af8d30f6aad&amp;amp;searchIndex=0&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Martin&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 9.0pt;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
