I am trying to read the value from the timer EMIOS_MCL on the oscilloscope.

What is the best way to get the EMIOS_MCL output signel?

1) Trgmux : i am trying to get the signal out here is my configuration:

I don't have an output: what do I miss here ?

Hi @Ayaz,

I would recommend firstly trying an example from the RTDs package:

You can use the trigger mux in order to drive the eMIOS MCL signal out in a pin. There is a community post with a similar issue: Solved: S32K3 TRGMUX example - NXP Community

For the timing configuration, you can refer to the routine to set the trigger time inside the development kit application SW: S32K344 BLDC/PMSM Development Kit

The green signal eMIOS_CH0_CNT starts from 0 until a particular value and then resets to 0 (MCB_UP_COUNTER), the default period range can go from 0 to 65535, which with a 160MHz clock would be from 0 to 410uS.

Thanks for the information ,I only have RTD version 3.0.0 , it is not available to download RTD 4.0.0 for S32K3XX.
I just need to read the Emios_mcl output on oscilloscope !
when i am trying to connect the emios to trgmux as seen above, it does not gives any output ,even thought if connect it further to BCTU :
Emios_mcl ---> Trgmux ----> BCTU
the bctu is getting triggered as it should be , but i need to read the signel that is coming out of emios_mcl?

Just to confirm, the emios examples from the RTD 3.0.0 package do work and generate a signal?

yes i have used emios_mcl driver to provide period into emios_pwm and it is works
