&lt;P&gt;The higher the current the bigger the voltage drop from VDD/VSS.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The datasheet specifies the min. guaranteed current at &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;VOL &amp;lt;= 0.7V&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;VOH &amp;gt;= VDD_HV_A/B - 0.7V&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;for all the GPIO types.&lt;/P&gt;
