Support of RANDOMSEED by S32K3 CRYPTO Driver

Hi,

I have checked the User Manual for S32K3 CRYPTO Driver
Document Number: UM34CRYPTOASR4.4 Rev0000R1.0.0 Rev. 1.0

In paragraph 3.5 Driver Limitations, I discover that Crypto_RandomSeed function will always return CRYPTO_E_NOT_SUPPORTED because service is not supported by Crypto_ProcessJob in fact current version HSE firmware does not have support for such a functionality.

is there an update MCAL crypto driver which support this functionality ? or any other method to do it by using MCAL S32K3 CRYPTO Driver ?

Hello @mataomoh1,

In RTD_CRYPTO_UM.pdf file of the latest RTD package - SW32K3_S32M27x_RTD_R21-11_4.0.0_P01 was noted same things for Crypto_RandomSeed.

There is no way to do it by using MCAL S32K3 CRYPTO Driver because Crypto driver based on HSE firmware.

At the moment, I didn't have any information related to this functionality will support by HSE FW in the future.
