Hello,

I am trying to program and debug the MR-CANHUBK344 board with a PE Micro Multilink LC and S32 Design studio. I am powering the board with 12V through P27 and the connections can be viewed in the image below.

ctunder77_0-1699842275301.png

When I try to debug I get an error saying it was unable to connect the hardware. I have looked at some other posts for similar boards and delayed after reset by 300ms but I think the problem is the fact that debugger is not detecting any target voltage because the yellow LED isn't illuminated on the debugger. Is there a fix for this? Thanks in advance.

ctunder77_1-1699842331776.png

Hi,

yes, the yellow LED must be ON, so most probably there is issue with powering debugger.
You can try to measure pin1 of the connector to check voltage is present.

Thank you for the reply. I have checked the voltage between 1(TVCC) on and pin 5(GND) and it is 3.3V. Shouldn't that be enough to cause the yellow light on the debugger to come on?

Thanks.

Hi,

Yes, it should. Check ribbon cable itself, connector placement and pin 1 alignment. You can also try to connect it directly to JTAG header on the board, P26.
