      <title>S32K series MCU VOL Level</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear Team,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Could you please support us to get an answer for the below question.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;FONT color="#0000ff"&gt;What is the Digital output Low (VOL) for this MCU?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;GPIO output from the MCU is connected to an IC which is expecting input voltage less than 0.5V to detect the Low level.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I could see in the S32K series datasheet that the VOL voltage is mentioned as&amp;nbsp;VOL &amp;lt;= 0.7V which is the Maximum Value.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I understand that the&amp;nbsp;actual&amp;nbsp;VOL will be dependent on the current draw and the type of pin being used (Standard, Standard-Plus, Medium, Fast).&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I Am not sure how to ensure the VOL (MCU) is less than the VIL max of other devices.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Is it right to consider it as a Linear function and take the Actual VOL value using below formula&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;FONT color="#0000FF"&gt;VOL (MCU) = (Actual Current per Pin / Rated Current of each Pin) x VOL Max.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Considering VOL Max = 0.7V.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Regards&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Sreelakshmi A&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
