Hi,

I have installed DS version 3.4 and S32K3XX DEVELOPMENT PACKAGE and S32K3 Real-Time Drivers AUTOSAR 4.4 Version 2.0.0 and GCC 9.2 and GNUARM PEMICRO INTERFACE DEBUGGING SUPPORT.

I can build the examples by S32DS PROJEDTS FROM EXAMPLE tab.

However I couldn't flash the code nor debug the project.. for instance take a project called

"Dio_Example_S32k3xx" I use a debug configuration called "Dio_Example_S32k3xx "Dio_Example_S32k3xx_debug_flash_ PNE".

WITH THIS DEBUG CONFIGURATION , open sda does not even connect to the target and When I use JTAG and PNE debugger it connects to the target and then display a "run time error" message and debugging terminates. I'm using a S32K1XEVAL-Q100 Board.

Please help me to resolve this.

Hi @hajianik,

According to your description, you use S32K3 RTD and S32K1 board.

If this is a typo, and it is an S32K3 board, then, there is no OpenSDA debugger.

Can you clarify?

Hi Daniel,

It is a typo and I use S32K3-q100 board. on this board the processor is s32k311q100 however the examples are targeted for a s32k312_q172 micro .when I use these examples that are for s32k312_q172 I get a an exception in start_up code, that is when I use external power supply and PNE debugger.

There is no support in DESIGN STUDIO V3.4 for s32k311 or 310 series . WHAT CAN I DO?

Hi @hajianik,

There is support for S32K311 in S32DS IDE v3.5, RTD 3.0.0

There are no RTD examples for S32K311, but a new RTD project for S32K311 can be created.
